The Sallet is a refined protective helmet, directly inspired by 15th-century German models. It combines functionality, elegance and comfort , with a finely crafted movable visor that fits the shape of the face while allowing air to pass through thanks to small ventilation holes .
Its hinge adorned with floral motifs allows the visor to be raised as needed, whether to reveal the face or improve vision. The front is reinforced by a decorative plate, adding both robustness and nobility to the whole. At the rear, a lobster-type articulated neck plate effectively protects the back of the head without hindering movement.
The helmet is securely fastened with a leather strap under the chin , ensuring a good fit in combat. Made from 1mm mild steel and fitted with full grain leather straps and fasteners , the Sallet is designed to withstand the rigors of LARP or historical reenactments , while giving you a look worthy of the elite soldiers of the Holy Roman Empire.
