Scramasax Saxon
The Scramasax, worn by Saxons and Vikings between the 4th and 10th centuries, came in a wide range of sizes and was used as both a tool and a weapon. Worn horizontally on the back of the belt, the scramasax provided the spearman with both a close combat weapon as well as a tool and utensil in the camp. Our Scramasax, with its foot-long blade, would provide both cutting and thrusting power in combat while performing heavy-duty tasks around the home and camp. The Scramasax comes with a horizontal leather carrying case.
