Larp Weapons

  • Legend :

Who never heard of the feats of the Moerr Rekkr Raudr d’Odinn, the Glorious Red Warriors of Odin? Everywhere they ventured, their chief, Torfa the Just, inspired respect both by his knowledge and by his actions. Attributing his valiance to Odin, god of victory, Torfa the Just, an outstanding Hilmir*, trained his warriors to the handling of the two-handed sword personally. Clad in the traditional red tartan of their clan, a fur on their shoulder, and equipped with their two-handed sword, these braves lived for the glory of their name. No fight was declined, whether it was amical or mortal in nature, because it was to the challenger to announce his preference. The viking sword comes from the universe of Seyrawyn, creation of Martial Grisé and Maryse Pepin. On their lands where many people coexist with druids and dragons, the legend says that Torfa the Just had accepted and won a challenge thrown down by the King of dragons himself. Thus, his fabulous two-handed sword would have been the ultimate price for his bravery.

    Workshop :

From the fine double grooves to the engraved knotted pattern, this sword showcases Seyrawyn’s latest blade profile in its full two-handed length. Echoing the impressive details of its blade, the hilt’s striking gold traceries crown a deep red leather-like faux-wrap. Completed by an intricate almost-glowing emerald green pommel jewel, this sword is cast in our Calimacil foam to make it a safe LARP weapon of unequaled durability.

    Characters :

This weapon suits many valiant and glorious characters. From the viking inspired warriors, to the undercover king’s heir, this two-handed sword will please all strong and noble fighters for many campaigns to come.

    Legend:

A New Assignment Since the sunrise, the guard had been assigned a new position: Cerulean Sentinel, district of knowledge. At first glance, he looked just like a protector of scholars; he wore the blue scarves of the district and held in his hand a spear of the same hue. However, the weight of the scarlet dagger concealed under his belt brought his thoughts back to the walls, where for the first time he had sunk that blade into the skull of a green skin. He smiled; he was eager to return there.

  • Legend :

The red axe tribe had a goal: take over the desolated northern steppes. Armed with their mythic axes and strong in numbers, they waged war like there was no tomorrow. They fought without rest for months, and every victory brought them new warriors and slaves. Soon, they had conquered all but one last tribe. One tribe standing between them and their empire: the broken axe tribe. Never before this many axes were seen on the same battlefield. When victory came for the Orcs, they showed their supremacy by taking the sacred axe of their new subjects and merging it with theirs. By doing so, they created much more than an empire; they created a new and terrifying tool of destruction. The double axe.

    Workshop :

The head of this LARP double axe is incredibly realistic thanks to its steel colour and aged gold accents. Furthermore, the wooden handle ends with a perfect imitation of leather details. This enables a great handling in every situation. Entirely made of Calimacil foam, this axe is absolutely safe, and is durable enough to remain safe and enjoyable for years to come.

    Characters :

Barbarians will naturally be drawn to this axe because of its brutal nature. They know that the only thing better than an axe is a double-headed axe. However, many evil creatures that dwell far away from civilisation may use this axe for its efficiency: Orcs, Goblins, even a few Trolls who learned “refined” techniques beyond crushing things with clubs.

  • Legend :

While samurais had great ornate katanas, full of stories and renowned by all, it was absolutely illogical that ninjas use the same swords. However, as they wished to use the high quality of these blades, they had forged similar weapons, but simpler in design. This way, no one would recognize them in the city, and letting go of them in a risky escape would not bring dishonor on their family. These weapons were so efficient that they did not change for hundreds of years. Still today, some keep as treasures on of these swords, symbol of a lost era.

    Workshop :

The Ninja II is the natural evolution of the first generation of this Squire sword. Always made of safe Calimacil foam, this weapon will give you years of good use thanks to its unrivalled durability. The guard of the sword is now steel-coloured and the handle is brown. The blade stays silver-coloured to make a unique and incredibly realistic weapon.

    Characters :

Characters inspired by asian culture will appreciate this sword’s unique design. Less detailed than the katana, it is perfect for anyone who is not noble-born, such as ninjas and spies, but also simple soldiers and mythical creatures of the far East.

I invoke the ancient pact and share this prey with the jaws of the Abyss, so they can once again fuel the power in my veins. By the blood of this sacrifice, I summon thee, who I named, and bind thee to this realm through the vessel of my own body. In reward for this service, I relinquish dominion of my living shell for every new noon, so thee can run the earth, hunt, and gorge on souls and gore. By this blade, I seal this pact, may my strike open the gate through which I await thee coming.
  • Safe foam fake weapon designed for LARP combat, cosplay, theater and film.

    Description

This elf inspired curved dagger will be favoured by noble sires, fey-blooded thieves, magical craftsmen, or stealthy sylvan warriors alike. This latex blade is perfect for elven characters, noble rogues, and elegant mages in LARP.

    Legend

The bandit leader watched as a ridiculously small group returned from the caravan raid, all of them looking quite bloodied and very afraid. She was expecting some fear from her followers, but these dared return empty-handed, while they should know better than to disappoint her. This made no sense at all! Her scout had told her the caravan had almost no guards, only a few merchants and artisans travelling with riches and supplies. They were defenceless. Grabbing a haggard brigand by the collar, the increasingly angry leader asked for an explanation, and what she was given was a precious lesson about picking her targets. Sure, the caravan had no soldier and was indeed very wealthy, but that should have been a sign that there was more there than what simply met the eyes. The scout had failed to report the caravan was accompanied by an elf's couple, traders covered in flowing silk and shining silver. Apparently, those two were the reason no one bothered to hire guards. As soon as the attack began, they both jumped from their saddles and unsheathed pairs of long elven knives, fighting with the kind of speed and efficiency no one would expect from simple merchants. Of course, most merchants couldn't live a few centuries, but elves had this tendency of just acquiring skills over their long lifetime, and the bandit crew simply didn't stand a chance faced by this duo of experienced adventurers turned silk traders. That was a blunder this bandit gang would never truly recover from.
  • The Battle of Bicolline's 25th Anniversary Dagger

Created in collaboration with Le Duché de Bicolline, La Marquise represents the culmination of two universes linked by the same destiny. On the one hand, Bicolline, today the largest domain devoted to medieval fantasy role-playing games in North America, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of it's Battle. On the other hand, Calimacil, whose know-how for the creation of foam weapons for LARP continues to evolve, now relies on partnerships between the various LARP industry players.

La Marquise is the matching dagger to La Duchesse, Bicolline Battle’s 25th anniversary LARP sword. Their designs and color schemes intertwine in every possible way, and yet, the dagger feels very unique, far from just a side weapon when carrying both. The handle of La Marquise displays small, but very noticeable golden seahorses, the emblem of Bicolline, on its pommel and on each side of its hilt. The rest of the handle, more sober, gives it a striking realism. The suptile variations between silver and steel hues allow the details of the guard to be raised. The blade has all the characteristics of the latest innovations from Calimacil. It strikes the perfect balance between safety and a realistic look. The illusion of sharpness is accentuated by a silver edging on a steel base. As a final touch, the base of the blade features engravings whose detail is revealed by a gold color on a black background.

    Characters :

This foam dagger will be the best companion of paladins and knights, should they get separated from their sword in the heat of combat. It will also be a great addition to any noble or wealthy merchant costume, whether they are fighters or not. Finally, it’s uniqueness will make it a formidable accessory for various scenarios. Imagine discovering this dagger after an assassination; it would certainly be considered as a declaration of war.

  • Legend :

How do you think that we, the Swiss people, were able to keep the peace in our lands, free from invaders and wars, through all the scarring conflicts of the Renaissance? While the French were fighting with straight swords, and southerners with curved ones, we had a great advantage: their blades never reached their foes. Our halberds kept the best knights at bay, and a simple battle formation could stop the most persistent riders. The solution was really that simple. Put a longer shaft behind the blade, and you’ll stay alive longer. With our halberds, we will surely be able to keep the peace in our lands for centuries to come!

    Workshop :

Calimacil’s halberd head gets revamped! Safe as always with its almost indestructible foam, softer than regular Calimacil weapons, its appearance becomes more realistic than ever, with a forged metal texture and steel-coloured blade. Some silver highlights complete the illusion. It is possible to mount this halberd head on multiple shafts, like bamboo and PVC, so any character can be at home with one of these weapons. Special thanks to Drakuler Dragon who suggested this name on our Facebook page.

    Characters :

Bodyguards and militiamen alike will like the halberd as a social and military status, and wise fighters will be able to keep their enemies at bay with its reach. Moreover, every armed garrison wanting to battle knights would be smart to use those weapons, as they are perfect to stop any charge and horse.
