Hoshiro was a legendary blacksmith. Few had the great honour of using one of his creations, but the prestige it gave made even the noblest families jealous. Passed down from generation to generation, his mysterious technique produced a blade of perfect edge, and the handle was made specifically for the one it was destined to. Many wished to buy these sabers, but the smith had a golden rule: only the worthy would be allowed to use the swords. Thus, only the purest of souls could pretend to the title of first owners of these swords, and all knew their names. This allowed the katanas, if stolen, to be found almost immediately.Workshop :
This new Calimacil katana includes the most important elements of the old one: the Calimacil foam, both extremely durable and safe. However, the katana now has a new, thinner blade, steel-coloured with silver accents. The handle is now white the wrappings are black for a contrasting look. Golden details such as the pommel have been added for a renewed realism.. This katana’s tsuba can be changed with any one of our other tsubas, so your sword can be truly unique. However, as they wished to use the high quality of these blades, they had forged similar weapons, but simpler in design. This way, no one would recognize them in the city, and letting go of them in a risky escape would not bring dishonor on their family. These weapons were so efficient that they did not change for hundreds of years. Still today, some keep as treasures on of these swords, symbol of a lost era.Workshop :

What took him appart from the other boys his age was his iron will. While they played, every moment he had was used for combat training, protocol lessons and martial arts practice. By 15, while they helped their parents in the fields, he was accepted as a pupil of a samurai. He would have the honour of learning from him the ancient arts. The wakizashi II is the natural evolution of a historical weapon. Made from Calimacil foam, this weapon introduces a new, thinner blade, but safe and durable as always. This blade is steel-coloured ans has silver accents for a perfect illusion. The white handle is wrapped with black ribbon while the pommel and guard are golden, for a touch of nobility and details.Character :
Historical weapon of the East, the wakizashi is a great addition to any noble warrior or pure follower of the emperor. Normally used as a secondary weapon in two-weapon fighting style, it can nontheless be used alone when needed, or as a primary weapon for smaller characters such as some mythical creatures of lore.Measurements :

While katanas were known to be more efficient and deadly, some situations were unsuitable for these weapons. This is why swords such as the tanto and the wakizashi were created. More practical, they could be hidden and be used in tight spaces. They also didn’t restrict the movements of the one using it, which was perfect for a hasty retreat.
